About the product
The GIGABYTE Z790 is an ATX motherboard with the Intel Z790 chipset and an LGA1700 socket. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors, and its four slots run DDR5 memory in dual-channel mode at up to 7600 MHz (OC). The board has one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (running at x4) and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, plus three M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s connectors. Networking is 2.5 Gbps LAN, audio is a Realtek ALC897 with 7.1 channels, and video goes out through HDMI and DisplayPort. The rear panel has two USB 2.0 ports, and the board measures 305 × 244 mm.
