The Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO (90MB1ID0-M0EAY0) is an ATX motherboard with the Z890 chipset and an LGA1851 socket for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors. Its 4 DDR5 slots take up to 256 GB, at 9200+ MT/s in OC mode. It has PCIe 5.0 x16 and PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, 6 M.2 slots, 1 SlimSAS and 4 SATA 6Gb/s ports. For sound the board has the ROG SupremeFX 7.1 Surround Sound system with the ALC4082 controller and an ESS ES9219 QUAD DAC, plus an optical S/PDIF output. It also carries Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi antenna, HDMI, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, a Thunderbolt header and a Clear CMOS button.
